Features
Cylinder Lock
The X2 Cable is secured using Tryten’s patented X2 Cylinder Lock.
The cylinder is made of high quality stainless steel and includes
a chrome-plated lock face. Utilizing a 7 pin tubular key, the X2
is near impossible to pick meaning you can rest easy knowing your
equipment is secure.
Keying Options
Keying options for the X2 lock include: Keyed Differently, Keyed Alike
or Master Keyed systems. The Keyed Differently system has a unique key
code to each lock.
The Keyed Alike system has a common key code for each
of the locks in the group.
The Master Key system has a unique key code
to each lock but also has a master key for an authorized personnel to
access any locks deployed in that enterprise.
Future Orders
As a manufacturer, Tryten can supply all future lock orders with the
same Keyed-Alike or Master Key Group as your original orders. We are
the only manufacturer that will do that for future orders as little
as one unit.
Aircraft Cable Construction
The Tryten Cable X2 is built using top grade aircraft
cable which resists cutting by cable and wire cutters.
The PC Cable is 6' long, and 1/4" thick. Custom lengths are available on volume orders.

Attachment Methods
Security Slot Attachment
If a device you wish to secure comes equipped with a security slot,
you could secure it to the X2 Cable system using our security-slot clip.
Simply insert the Clip into the security slot, spool the cable through
the clip and around an immovable object or anchor. Attach the lock.
X-Anchor Attachment
If securing a device that doesn’t have a security slot, the X2 can be
secured using our Tryten patented X-Anchor. Use the commercial grade
adhesive provided to adhere the X-Anchor to a desk or another large,
difficult-to-move object to create a stationary anchor point. Spool the
security cable through the anchor and secure the cable to an anchor
attached to the back of the pc or item you are wishing to protect.
Attach the lock to the cable and Push-to-Lock.
Desk Anchor
In some cases where a user environment does not have a suitable object
to loop the cable around, we suggest the use of a desk Anchor. This Desk
Anchor attaches to the desk with a powerful adhesive providing up to 1000
pounds of pull force. Once secured to the desk the Laptop Lock can loop
through the desk anchor as the secured point.
